Born in Mayfield, KY and into a pastor's family, I became a Christian at the age of 9. At the age of 17, during my senior year in high school, I began leading the music and started a choir in my father's church and surrendered to the music ministry there. I graduated from UT Martin with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education and a Masters Degree in Worship from Southern Seminary in Louisville.
I am married to Sherry, also a vocal major and we have two amazing adult kids, Lyndsey and Tyler. One of the real treasures has been raising a son with autism. He has taught our family so much about appreciating the little things in life.
I love to play the piano and saxophone, as well as sing! While in college I was blessed to sing the national anthem and alma mater at all the home football and basketball games at UT Martin. I am an avid Tennessee Vol fan and even though I was born in Kentucky....I bleed orange!!
My prayer for FBC is to experience God in a fresh, unique and exciting way each and every time we gather for Worship!
