Book Club book for October:
This book is about Maebelle Willett who starts her new government job in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She is told that her work will help America win the war but she knows very little about the work she does. Even though the employees at Oak Ridge aren't allowed to discuss thir jobs, Mae's roomate starts sharing disturbing information, then disappears without a trace. Mae tries to find her but comes face-to-face with a life-changing revelation.
