2) Reference verse 1 John 2:3. What are your thoughts about why John connects the keeping of God’s commands as proof of genuinely knowing God? Is it a valid connection?
3) Reference verse 1 John 2:15. What “things of the world” stand in the way of the church being more effective?

1) Why was orthopraxy important in John’s day? Why is it important in our day?
