1) In verse 4, what was God testing? 2) In verse 7-8, why did Moses tell the people they were grumbling against God rather than against Moses and Aaron? 3) What is going on in verse 10? Why was the point made that the glory of Lord was visible?

PERSONAL APPLICATION:

1) As you read chapter 16, what is your reaction to continued grumbling or the Israelites? What is the appropriate response to their grumbling? 2) How do you explain God’s apparent patience with the people? How did he demonstrate His patience? Compare His patience with you and your patience with your children. 3) What is going on in verses 20, 27-28? What causes that kind of behavior? Is that kind of behavior in believers today a hindrance to them and to those around them?
